Common questions
Does SolvePaper need an internet connection?
No. SolvePaper works offline. It has no account, and it opens, edits and saves your files on your Mac.
SolvePaper closed before I saved. Is my work lost?
SolvePaper keeps autosave copies of unsaved work. Open SolvePaper again and it offers to bring your work back.
How do I clear the list of recent files?
You can clear the recent files list from the SolvePaper home screen.
Is redacted text really gone?
Yes. When you save a file with redactions applied, SolvePaper keeps no copy of the original, so the redacted text cannot be recovered from it.
Which Macs does SolvePaper run on?
Macs with Apple silicon or Intel, running macOS 13 Ventura or later.
Purchases and refunds
SolvePaper is sold through the Mac App Store, so Apple handles payments and refunds. To ask for a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page.
